Like mine seem to look okay in the oven but when they come out and cool off; they tasted fine but looked like pancakes! This happens to all recipes i try! im gonna be an epic fail of a baker if i cant even make chocolate cookies right...

Anonymous asked: this might be a tricky question. i'm 14 and i started baking at the age of 11. it started of as a hobby so i'd have something to snack on in the afternoon, but it's become far more than that. now i bake and decorate birthdays cakes for everyone in my family, do desserts and give cookies for people i love. i have a ton of recipe books and gadgets, that i get as holiday presents....

Something fun:
This is not a usual recipe post, but you know what I discovered last night when, in the midst of baking, I realized I had no vanilla extract?
It’s an awesome idea to replace the vanilla extract in a recipe with flavored alcohol. In this case, Butterscotch Schnapps. :)
I highly recommend it.

Anonymous asked: Do you know if there's any formula or equation to transform a full recipe for a batch of cupcakes into single one? I ask, not to make just one cupcake at a time, but to make an assortment without having to bake all day to make 144 cupcakes just to have a variation of 12 different cupcakes. Thanks! -Juan Carlos
